Our Liaison Officer Jamie Payne is undertaking a sponsored walk on Monday 8th June to raise awareness and funds for our vital work supporting people in crisis, right here in North Norfolk.

Jamie will be walking around Cromer Pier 125 times, to mark 125 years of the iconic Victorian structure. North Norfolk Foodbank is the chosen charity partner of Cromer Pier in 2026, and we are working together on different events throughout the year.

125 laps of the pier may not sound like much, but at 300m each time, Jamie will be walking a total of 37.5km (approximately 23.3 miles) - while carrying a 15kg rucksack on his back! That is the weight of a standard emergency food parcel that we provide to local people.

Starting at 6am, Jamie plans to complete his walk, come rain or shine, in time for the celebrations on the pier at 4pm.

He would love to see you there, cheering him on throughout the day. Feel free to pop down and say hello, and maybe join him for a lap.

You can donate to support Jamie's efforts via GoFundMe
