Community Fridges in North Norfolk

9th April 2025

Community fridges and larders exist to share excess or unwanted food to help prevent food waste.

They are a great place to pick up some free food, from just out-of-date tins and unsold supermarket reduced items, to fresh fruit and vegetables from people’s gardens and allotments. Some community fridges even have frozen food.

They are free to use and are for everyone in the community, irrespective of income or employment status.

You don’t need a referral and can just turn up to see what’s available.
